4 Piece Covers Band Playing Rock, Pop, Indie, Blues - well you name it really! Once upon a time in a galaxy not so far away there were some bands. And in those bands were four individuals who has yet to embrace their high speed simian nature... Then came the four horsemen of band-pocalypse ("Who's booking gigs", "Who's humping the gear", "why can't we play different music" and "it's not you it's us") and our four intrepid musicians (if that word can be applied to them) found themselves thrust together and rising like a sort of ape shaped phoenix from the ashes... Playing their own take on covers from bands such as Green Day, Ash, Blur, Oasis, The Stereophonics, Foo Fighters, Muse, Linkin Park, James, The Beastie Boys, Pulp, The La's, The Fratellis and probably more, our four monkey heroes (?) can be found playing pubs, clubs, parties, weddings and events. All about having fun with music (and let's be honest, having a few beers and getting loud every now and again) The Sonic Speed Monkeys are happy to play your event or venue - both fully LOUD or acoustic. Whether they play for peanuts or not, you'll have to ask them to find out.... (No actual poo will be flung, and please don't ask the band for a banana, as refusal may offend).
