The Red Windows are a new chilled out progressive and spacey rock covers band from York. The band members are: Heidi Widdop-Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar And Whistles. Mark ‘Stix’ Christie-Drums and Percussion Malcolm Grieves-Bass Guitar And Backing Vocals Roger Newton-Guitars And Noises Dave Sykes-Keyboards, Atmospheres and Backing Vocals The band members are all experienced musicians who have previously been in bands including Mostly Autumn, Stolen Earth, Cloud Atlas, Justice Rising, No Mean Feat, The Recidivists, Dufflegoat, and Do Not Panic! They have played live on the same stage supporting acts including Motorhead, Wishbone Ash, Focus, Curved Air, Colin Blunstone, The Strawbs, 999, The Snakes, Ex-UFO and the Andy Frazer Band. The current set list includes songs by: Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac, Genesis, The Allman Brothers Band, The Faces, Mountain, Jefferson Airplane, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, The Chris Robinson Band and Santana.
