How to use Dianes Gig List

Welcome to Dianes Gig List! This guide will help you get the most out of our platform, whether you're looking for live music events, you're an artist wanting to promote your gigs, or a venue looking to list your bookings.

Use the Search Events field to find your favourite bands or discover who's playing at your local venue. If they're not on the site yet, point them in our direction!

Getting Started
Dianes Gig List has two main directories where you can explore what's available:
Artist Directory
View a full list of all bands and artists already registered on the platform. Discover new music and see who's performing near you.
Venue Directory
Browse all registered venues on the platform. Find out what's happening at your favourite local venues and discover new ones.
Searching for Events
The "Search Events" field is a powerful tool available to everyone on the platform. You don't need to be registered to use it!
Tip: Use the search function to find when your favourite band is playing or who's performing at your local venue. It's a great way to discover live music without creating an account.

Navigate to the main search page

Enter Your Search
Type an artist name, venue name, or location

Browse Results
View all matching events with dates, times, and locations
Account Login
To create and manage your own events, you'll need to log in to your account.
If You Already Have an Account

Click "Account Login"
From the home page, click the Account Login button

Enter Your Email & Password
Fill in the email address and password you used when registering

Access Your Account
You're now logged in and can manage your events
New to Dianes Gig List?
Creating an account is free and easy! Choose whether you're a Band or Venue and follow these steps:
Registration Steps

Click "Register Here FREE"
From the Account Login page, click the registration link

Choose Your Account Type
Select either BAND or VENUE

Create Your Login
Enter your Email address
Create a Password
Confirm your Password

Security Verification
Solve the simple security "Sum" to verify you're human

Complete Your Profile
Fill in ALL appropriate information for your account type
Note: Make sure you fill in all fields accurately so other users can find you easily!
For Bands & Artists
As a registered band, you can promote your upcoming gigs and build your fanbase on Dianes Gig List.
Adding Your Gigs

Enter Venue Details
Fill in the FULL address of the venue where you're performing

Venue Auto-Save
The venue will be saved for you to select for any future bookings there

Add Extra Information
Include any additional details (ticket links, special info, etc.)

Set Date & Time
Add the date and time of your booking

Save Your Gig
Your gig will appear in your account and on the main search
Manage Your Gigs
View, edit, and delete your booked performances anytime
Venue Library
Saved venues make booking future gigs quicker
Searchable
Fans can find you through our search function
For Venues
As a registered venue, you can showcase all your bookings and let fans discover who's performing at your location.
Adding Your Bookings

Enter Band Name
Add the name of the band or artist you've booked

Band Auto-Save
The band will be saved for you to select for any future bookings

Add Extra Information
Include ticket links, entry fees, or other relevant details

Set Date & Time
Add the date and time of the booking

Save Your Booking
Your event will appear in your account and on the main search
Showcase Events
Display all your upcoming performances in one place
Band Library
Saved bands make future bookings quicker
Attract Fans
People searching for events will find you easily
Managing Your Account
Once you're logged in, all your entries appear in your account dashboard where you can manage them.
  • View All Entries: See all your bands (if a venue) or gigs (if a band) at a glance
  • Edit Entries: Update event details, dates, or venue information anytime
  • Delete Entries: Remove past or cancelled gigs from your account
  • Profile Settings: Keep your profile information up to date
  • Logout: Securely exit your account when you're done
Tip: Regularly update your events to keep fans informed about your latest bookings!
